Past Events April 22-23 2006 Morris County NJ Law Enforcement Expo, Rockaway Twp NJ Sat and Sun Apr 22-23 2006 The fourth Annual Police Expo will be held at the Townsquare Mall in Rockaway Twp NJ. The Morris County Park Police and the Rockaway Township Police Department will host the event.Departments from around Morris County, as well as county, state and federal agencies will have displays at the event. It will feature live demonstrations of police equipment and the different types of police vehicles used by law enforcement personnel, such as patrol cars, motorcycles, trucks, ATVs, horses and more. The event also includes safety programs such as DARE Education, Internet Safety, crime prevention tips and a free child identification program, which includes fingerprinting and photo identification. May 20 2006 Wheels of Justice Emergency Vehicle Show, Carol Stream IL May 20, 2006 Sat 9am to 1pm, parade at 1pm Carol Stream Police Department hosts their 6th annual "Wheels of Justice" Emergency Vehicle Show on May 20 to benefit the Carol Stream Police DARE program. The event will take place from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Carol Stream Town Center, 110 W. Lies Road, Carol Stream. At 1:00 p.m. a parade of police vehicles will head westbound on Lies Road from the Town Center. Last year, over 35 different law enforcement agencies participated in this event. Many emergency vehicles were displayed, including squad cars, DARE cars, fire vehicles, police motorcycles, and a helicopter. The public will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite car and awards will be given. DAREN, the D.A.R.E. mascot and McGruff, the crime-fighting dog are expected to make special appearances. Classic cars, trucks, motorcycles, and bikes that were used by police over the years. The NYPD also shows off a few of their current units at the show. Free admission to the car show ( a small donation is requested to tour the inside museum). The Police Museum is located in the historic old NYPD 1st Precinct building and is located at 100 Old Slip, in Lower Manhattan. At 9:30 AM - Parade departs for American Airlines Center via Highway 183. And at 10:00 AM – Parade arrives at American Airlines Center and festivities begin. Line up begins at 10 a.m. and the staging area will be from 16th to 18th and Atlantic Avenue. The Kinsmen Club of Chatham is hosting their first Police Muster June 8 & 9, 2013. This event coincides with our 68th Annual Community Fair, held June 6 – 9, 2013. The Fair is the Club’s biggest charity fundraiser of the year, with partial proceeds going to Cystic Fibrosis of Canada. Scheduled activities include a Show & Shine for all Law Enforcement vehicles, with an award for Best Dressed vehicle. A cruise of Police Vehicles through Downtown Chatham is also schedued. Participants must bring a Law Enforcement vehicle of some type, including but not limited to cruisers, trucks and motorcycles. Vehicles can either be active or antique. Different divisions of your department are welcome e.g.; K9, SWAT (Tactical and Critical Response). Aviation will not be allowed as our event site cannot accommodate helicopters. Participants are welcome to bring family with them, as this is a Fair there will be lots to do while on site. The Police Muster will be an annual event.
