2018-2022 Ford Expedition Special Service Vehicle The Ford Expedition Special Service Vehicle (SSV) was based on the all new 2018 Ford Expedition. The new Expedition features body-on-frame architecture with high-strength lightweight material construction consisting of boron steel and aluminium. The SSV package is available on the Expedition and longer wheel base Expedition Max. The engone is a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 engine, rated at 375 hp, with a 10-speed automatic transmission.(2)  A high-output 240-amp alternator replaces the stock unit to accommodate for extended idle times. (1) Rear drive is standard, with optional four wheel drive. The Expedition SSV offers 17" steel wheels ,3.73 Electronic Limited-Slip Differential (eLSD) ,Rear View Camera with Backup Assist Grid Lines and Washer, vinyl floor covering, column shifter, cloth 1st row / vinyl 2nd row and floor console delete.(3)
