New York City Police Cars Housing Bureau

The NYPD Housing Bureau is responsible for providing the security and police services to about 420,000 people using public housing throughout New York City. They are stationed in Police Service Areas (PSA), which similar to police precincts. The New York City Housing Authority Police Department was a seperate department from 1952 to 1995 until it merged into the NYPD in 1995.
